My husband, Mike, and I were photographed in October 2009 for a press release about changing the clocks back. During the shoot the photographer asked us whether we were taking a teawaker on honeymoon with us. At first we were concerned. Would the teawaker be allowed through customs? Would we have room in our suitcase? But as the idea took hold it occured to us that this was the perfect time to realise a dream - extreme teawaking!
So… our new Swan Teasmade travelled with us on our honeymoon to Jersey. Not only did we use it beside our hotel bed (it was much better than the tiny and ludicrously slow kettle they provided) but we also took photos of it in several rather outlandish locations. We now have a Facebook page where you can see out photos and where Teawaker fans can share their own photos of Teawakers whether in their bedrooms, or in the best imaginable locations all over the world!
