The Tealarm was made by the Concentric Manufacturing Company Limited in Birmingham. It is has a case of mottled brown bakelite in a very Art Deco design. It is quite tall - 27.5 cm.

On the lower photograph it can be seen that the plinth behind the clock uses a rocking switch very much like the tecal teamakers. The mottled clear plastic at the top conceals the light. 

Shane writes: "The cords are not original, having been replaced when the Australian standard plug was put on it. I haven't tested it out because the kettle is missing and I don't have a kettle with a corresponding socket to this plug. I'll let you know how it goes!"
